Join the Social Enterprise Institute as we welcome Third Sector Capital Partners, S3IDF and Root Capital for the December Social Enterprise Lecture Series, "Investing for Impact".
From domestic social impact bonds to international lending -- this multi-faceted panel will feature perspectives in impact investing from a variety of different sectors.
Root Capital is a non-profit social finance fund which aims to grow rural prosperity for small to medium enterprises in the global marketplace, focusing on lending, financial training and market connections for small to medium agricultural organizations and cooperatives.Featuring Tim Spittle from the Lending Analysis Team.
S3IDF (Small Scale Sustainable Infrastructre Development Fund) is an international organization which works through its innovative bundle model (business development support, technological training powered with financing) to invest in businesses that improve infrastructure development for the poor. Featuring Russell DeLucia, founder of S3IDF and Elizabeth Friend, Senior Program Officer.
Third Sector Capital Partners is a non-profit organization specializing in social innovation financing; TSCP aims to utilize the power of advisory services to bring high impact social innovations to scale. Featuring John Grossman, Partner & General Counsel.
The Social Enterprise Lecture Series is a free event which brings together students and the community interested in learning about enterprise solutions to solving some of the world’s most pressing social problems.
Time: Panel will begin at 6-7:30PM, free food/refreshments from Haley House Bakery & Cafe will be served beginning at 5:30PM. Please arrive early!
